Canada and Guerrero, guests of honor in Cervantino 2019.

Adriana Camarena, director of the State Institute of Culture, welcomed Canada and Guerrero as a guest of honor, respectively, for the 2019 Cervantino International Festival.


Marcela Diez Martínez, director of the Cervantino International Festival, reported that this year the theme will be Migrants, as a common thread, for the importance and transcendence of the phenomena of social mobility.

The Secretary of Culture, Rodolfo Leyva, noted that participating in the feast of the Spirit is a great opportunity to share tradition and culture, which incidentally is the best antidote to insecurity.

This invitation will allow Guerrero to share its traditions, joy and folklore that will be present in one of the most important cultural celebrations in Mexico: the 47th edition of the International Cervantino Festival.
